About the role

Alyeska Resort is seeking Server professionals to join our culinary team in Girdwood, Alaska. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their craft and thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, present the menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and service.
• Learn menu items and daily specials.
• Work knowledge of spirits, beer, and wines.
• Write orders on checks and enter ordered items into the RTP system.
• Serve courses from the kitchen and bar.
• Observe diners to respond to any additional requests and determine when the meal has been completed.
• Assist in the preparation of some items, as determined by the Outlet Chef and Outlet Manager.
• Clear and reset counters and/or tables at the conclusion of each course, and arrange table settings.

What We Need

• Obtain a valid TAPS Card.
• Obtain a Food Handlers Card.
• Experience in similar server setting preferred.
• Experience in a customer service setting.
• The ability to multitask while providing exceptional guest service.
