Brown Enterprises and honoring the history of tradition of old Owings Mills. The Tillery Restaurant & Lounge brings the best of the expansive countryside together with a modern and intimate dining experience - we call it Farm to Centre. Local hospitality is at the center of it all. And at the center of hospitality is food.

Essential Job Functions

• Clean off all plate and glassware from tables that have left.
• Resettle the table in the restaurant’s style, ensuring it is set properly and cleaned.
• Clean the chairs and floor area around the table.
• Bring all dishware to the dish area for cleaning.
• Restock service stands.
• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables rapidly and accurately.
• Communicate food orders to chefs, paying attention to priorities and special requests (e.g., food allergies).
• Maintain the beverage station (coffee, tea, etc.), emptying trash, bringing clean glassware to the bar area, getting ice, bringing linen, and folding napkins.
• Answer guests’ questions about ingredients and menu items.
• Inform restaurant staff about customers’ feedback or requests (e.g., when they ask for the check).
• Ensure families with young children get kids menus and special silverware sets.

Required Skills And Abilities

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Must meet state legal age requirements.
• Must speak fluent English.
