Senior Warehouse Manager

About the role

The Senior Warehouse Manager position is available in Greencastle, PA for Ryder's Supply Chain Solutions division. This role is exempt and paid twice monthly with an annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 based on experience. There is also an annual bonus of 10% of salary per year, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Interface directly with customers to resolve issues and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Strategically plan and execute operations for the distribution center.
• Solve operational issues through continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
• Hire, supervise, and develop employees to maintain a positive work environment.
• Maintain open and effective communication within the workgroup and across the organization.
• Review data, identify necessary actions, and implement them as needed.
• Manage profit and loss statements based on the complexity and scope of the organization.
• Lead a proactive safety program to ensure a safe work environment.
• Instruct and enforce safety management plans, train employees, and monitor equipment maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred.
• Master's degree in Business, Logistics, Transportation or related field preferred.
• At least five (5) years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or industry-related fields.
• At least five (5) years of managing, leading, and developing direct reports.
• Three (3) years or more of profit and loss responsibility preferred.
• One (1) year or more of customer interaction experience preferred.
