Senior Warehouse Manager

About the role

The Senior Warehouse Manager is joining a newly established Ryder location in Opa Locka, FL. This role involves leading a team in developing and executing efficient warehousing and transportation solutions, interfacing directly with customers, and managing operations.

Responsibilities

• Interface directly with customers to resolve issues promptly and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Strategically plan and execute operational tasks for the distribution center.
• Solve operational challenges by implementing continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.
• Hire, supervise, and develop employees, fostering a positive work environment.
• Maintain open communication within the team and across the organization.
• Review and implement necessary actions based on data analysis.
• Manage profit and loss statements if required.
• Lead a proactive safety program to ensure a safe work environment.
• Instruct and enforce safety management plans, train employees, and monitor equipment maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred.
• Master's degree in Business, Logistics, Transportation or related field preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or industry-related fields.
• At least 5 years of experience in managing, leading, and developing direct reports.
• 3+ years of experience in managing profit and loss statements (preferred).
• 1+ year of customer interaction experience.

Pay

Annual Salary range: $106,000.00 - $116,000 per year based on experience.

Schedule

Exempt / Salary paid Twice Per Month.
