About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Senior Vice President, Facilities Operations to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space. This senior leader will oversee facilities operations across a portfolio of data center properties, with responsibility for driving consistency, compliance, and service excellence. The role will partner closely with regional leadership and internal stakeholders to align operating standards, manage budgets, and support growth objectives. This position also requires strong technical fluency in building systems, construction practices, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities
- Establish and implement facilities policies and organizational structure in alignment with corporate guidelines
- Develop and monitor business plans aligned with profit and growth objectives
- Supervise operating budgets for data centers within assigned regions
- Ensure compliance with organizational expenditure requirements in operations
- Lead a team of data center directors to deliver comprehensive corporate services
- Collaborate with regional leaders to achieve operational standards
- Negotiate contracts for improvement projects on real estate as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience
- 15+ years of facilities management or related experience, particularly in data centers
- 5+ years of team management experience; virtual management preferred
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, and safety regulations
- Working knowledge of construction practices and project management
- Experience with P&L responsibilities and budget management
- U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contracts

Pay
$259,782 – $397,275 annually
