About the role
Our client, a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space, is seeking a Senior Vice President, Facilities Operations to oversee facilities operations across a portfolio of data center environments, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant performance. This executive will partner closely with Data Center Directors and other business leaders to drive operational consistency, cost discipline, and service reliability. The leader will also shape business plans, manage budgets, and support complex real estate improvement initiatives that impact day-to-day operations and long-term organizational performance.
Responsibilities
- Establish and implement facilities policies in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Develop operational business plans focused on cost control and safety
- Supervise budgets for assigned data centers
- Ensure operational budget compliance
- Lead corporate services support through a team of Data Center Directors
- Negotiate project contracts for real estate improvements
- Utilize key performance indicators to evaluate operational program effectiveness
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- 15+ years of experience in facilities, data center, or corporate engineering management
- 5+ years of experience managing teams; virtual team management preferred
- Strong knowledge of regulations, electrical systems, and mechanical systems
- Experience with budgeting and financial modeling
- Knowledge of construction practices and building codes
- U.S. citizenship required for federal customer contracts

Compensation: $259,782 – $397,275 annually
