Senior Utility Coordinator

About the role

Support transportation and infrastructure projects across North Carolina. Coordinate with DOTs, municipalities, and utility owners to identify and resolve utility conflicts, manage SUE investigations, and prepare high-quality utility documentation.

Responsibilities

• Identify, track, and resolve utility conflicts on transportation projects.
• Develop Utilities by Others plans and coordinate utility design needs.
• Prepare and organize project documents, reports, and correspondence.
• Care for Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) investigations and manage schedules and submittals.
• Communicate regularly with clients, project managers, and utility companies.
• Review utility agreements, plans, estimates, and invoices.
• Conduct utility records research and maintain conflict logs and contact lists.
• Assist with project deliverables, exhibits, guides, and invoicing.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience.

• Compensation: $120,000 – $145,000 approximate range, with an annual bonus structure (details shared during offer stage).
