About the role
Join a growing firm as a Senior Utility Coordinator, supporting transportation and infrastructure projects across North Carolina. Coordinate with DOTs, municipalities, and utility owners to identify and resolve utility conflicts, manage SUE investigations, and prepare high-quality utility documentation.
Responsibilities
- Identify, track, and resolve utility conflicts on transportation projects.
- Develop Utilities by Others plans and coordinate utility design needs.
- Prepare and organize project documents, reports, and correspondence.
- Cookordinate Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) investigations and manage schedules and submittals.
- Communicate regularly with clients, project managers, and utility companies.
- Review utility agreements, plans, estimates, and invoices.
- Conduct utility records research and maintain conflict logs and contact lists.
- Assist with project deliverables, exhibits, guides, and invoicing.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with utility coordination and SUE investigations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Benefits
- Compensation: $120,000 - $145,000 approximate range, with an annual bonus structure (details shared during offer stage).
- Ownership: Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) begins after one year, with full vesting at five years—targeting 10%+ annual growth.
- Time Off: PTO based on experience level—3 weeks for junior staff, 4 for mid-level, and 5 for senior roles.
Pay
- $120,000 - $145,000 approximate range.
