Senior Utility Coordinator

About the role

STV is looking for a Senior Utility Coordinator for the Carolinas Utility Coordination Practice, based out of our North Charleston or Columbia, South Carolina offices. This position requires utility coordination experience for roadway and bridge replacement projects.

Responsibilities

• Supports QA/QC packages
• Maintains and drives project progress
• Serves as task leader for UC on projects
• Develops UC project deliverables
• Runs utility coordination meetings
• Mentors junior staff
• Trains, mentors, and monitors junior level coordinators
• Aids the regional head of utility coordination with project staffing, budgets, schedules, business development, and/or client interactions

Requirements

• Experience with SCDOT and/or a similar agency
• Extensive knowledge with the entire process of utility coordination from design to construction
• Knowledge of construction methods for both utilities and infrastructure contractors
• Self-motivated, willing to travel (20%)
• Ability to manage schedules and budgets

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of civil engineering or utility coordination experience
• Associate’s degree + 5 years of utility coordination experience as a minimum
• Preferred four-year bachelor's degree
• Competency in MicroStation/Geopak/Inroads and/or Civil 3D/AutoCAD
• SCDOT plan reading competency

Pay

$94,459.48 - $107,953.69
