Senior User Experience Researcher

About the role

The role will be part of a small, dedicated UX Research team. You will get a lot of variety and see a lot of impact. We cover 25 sports and have products for web, mobile, and connected TV. This is an opportunity to investigate a wide range of users in multiple verticals using a varied set of methodologies and to do research that directly impacts users and products and results in real, tangible changes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct iterative usability tests
• Plan and conduct UX research projects, including initial concept, method selection, execution, analysis, synthesis, reporting, and archiving
• Own and maintain the tagging taxonomy
• Mentor junior researchers

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Experience with quantitative and qualitative research methods
• 5+ years of experience in UX research
• Excellent presentation skills
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• Relevant portfolio
• Ability to drive definition and certainty in an ambiguous environment
• Willingness to travel

Bonus Points

• Master’s degree in relevant field
• Experience with a research repository system like EnjoyHQ, Dovetail, Condens, Aurelius, etc.
• Experience with UX research platforms and tools like Maze, dscout, Optimal Workshop, Lookback, UserZoom, etc.
• Experience with behavioral analytics platforms like Mixpanel, Pendo, Heap, Amplitude, etc.
• Experience with Figma
• Experience with Agile and how to work in an Agile system
• Experience with both B2C and B2B research studies
