About the Role

The Senior Technical Operations position leads strategic app partner integration programs across the VIZIO OS ecosystem. This role coordinates partner requirements, certification activities, issue management, and cross-functional execution involving Business Development, Software and Hardware Product, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Device Program Management teams. The position ensures successful delivery of partner commitments, platform initiatives, and business objectives while supporting operational excellence and customer experience across the VIZIO platform. This role is critical to ensuring the VIZIO platform includes the latest app versions from Apple, Amazon, Google/YouTube, and Netflix.

Responsibilities

  • Lead program management activities for strategic app partners, including Apple, Amazon, Google/YouTube, and Netflix.
  • Coordinate annual partner technical requirements reviews, consolidating feedback and driving alignment across internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor certification programs, including managing partner certification devices and associated firmware versions, launch readiness, milestones, risks, and dependencies across multiple hardware and software initiatives.
  • Manage partner service issues, including ticket creation, status tracking, escalation management, and deployment oversight.
  • Facilitate recurring cross-functional and partner meetings to drive execution and resolve program challenges.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in technical program management, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of software integrations, certification programs, release management, and issue resolution processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex partner relationships and drive consensus across diverse teams.
  • Extensive experience monitoring program milestones, risks, dependencies, and operational performance.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence decisions through data-driven recommendations.
  • Solid understanding of the streaming app ecosystem as it relates to software and hardware requirements, technology platforms, TV manufacturing processes, and customer-facing user experiences.
  • Commitment to integrity, accountability, and fostering collaborative, high-performing teams.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 3 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
  • Option 2: 5 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 2 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
  • Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices and experience supporting an inclusive culture.

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $88,000.00 - $171,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and stock for certain positions.
