About the role

Join a highly-skilled technical team of Laboratory Technologists in our Toxicology area of the Central Laboratory at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Take on this important role, responsible for performing patient testing using advanced technology (LC-MS/MS), interpretation of Chromatograms, performing quality control procedures as well as standard preventative maintenance. Here you'll have an opportunity to work with nationally accredited colleagues and contribute to lifesaving results.

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient testing using advanced technology (LC-MS/MS)
  • Interpret Chromatograms
  • Perform quality control procedures
  • Contribute to lifesaving results through collaborative work with nationally accredited colleagues

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or any other health science related field
  • 2 years of previous experience
  • New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist license from the New York State Education Department

Preferred Criteria

  • Manual bench or chromatography experience
  • ASCP certification

Pay

$55.80-$66.65/Hourly

Schedule

Full-time position, working Monday - Friday, 8am – 4pm with rotating day flex shifts on 10a - 6p and 11a - 7p. Rotating weekends and rotating holiday schedule as well.

Qualifications

All roles require on-site presence (variable by role).

Skills

Manual bench or chromatography experience, ASCP certification preferred.
