Senior Technologist Laboratory - Central Labs - Day Shift Including Rotating Weekends and Holidays

About the role

The Senior Laboratory Technologist - Central Labs - Days position involves performing quantitative and qualitative tests in the Chemistry and Hematology sections of the Central Laboratory. This role includes supervising and coordinating laboratory personnel, training and guiding technologists, participating in problem-solving processes, and maintaining quality assurance and quality control standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate laboratory personnel in the performance of quantitative and qualitative tests.
• Train and guide laboratory technologists.
• Participate in problem-solving processes.
• Maintain quality assurance and quality control standards.

Requirements

• A minimum of two years of experience.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology (or equivalent experience).
• New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure from the New York Education department.

Qualifications

• ASCP certification preferred.

Pay

• $55.80-$66.65/Hourly

Schedule

• Full-time day shift: 8:00am-4:00pm.
• Includes rotating weekends and holidays.
