Senior Technician, General Facilities Maintenance - Food Equipment

Position Summary

Walmart is hiring General Maintenance Technicians to support our Walmart stores by diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance duties for all commercial equipment.

What you'll do...

• Perform minor repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures (for example, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment)
• Complete routine maintenance to ensure safety and proper functionality
• Manage work orders and routine maintenance schedules by completing and providing required written and electronic information (for example, expense vouchers, weekly summaries, work orders, maintenance logs, etc.)
• Equipment Serviced: Food Equipment (Combi ovens, deli slicers, auto meat cutters, fryers, hot cases, ice makers, pizza ovens, rotisserie ovens, thermoglazers, donut cases, four bowl warmers, bakery ovens, bread slicers, tortilla makers), Grease and Oil Systems (Oil/water separators, used cooking oil tanks)

Minimum Qualifications

• 5 years' experience in maintenance
• A valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report
• 1 year's experience using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

• Grease and Oil Systems: Oil/water separators, used cooking oil tanks.

Preferred Qualifications

Vocational or Technical certification and 5 years' experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade or 7 years' experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade.

Valid Driver's License. Eligible for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

1 year’s experience using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
