About the role
Silvus is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to partner with Talent Acquisition leadership in executing full-cycle recruiting efforts across technical, engineering, and executive leadership pipelines. This role serves as a trusted talent advisor, collaborating with engineering directors, sales executives, and cross-functional hiring managers. The position is based at Silvus Technologies’ headquarters in West Los Angeles, CA, and follows a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 onsite days per week (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays).
Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment life cycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and closing for technical roles and niche business requisitions such as Sales Directors and executive Director-level positions.
- Successfully manage 15+ active requisitions while maintaining high-quality hires.
- Provide supervision and mentorship for Talent Acquisition Specialists recruiting for technical roles.
- Partner with executive leadership to understand hiring needs, create engaging job descriptions, and define efficient recruitment strategies.
- Build and maintain high-touch headhunting strategies to engage passive, top-tier leadership talent in competitive industries.
- Serve as the candidate’s primary point of contact throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive experience.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse/Workday) to extract KPIs, deliver market and compensation intelligence, and compile competitor insights.
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Lead to improve team operations and optimize software workflows.
- Represent Silvus at industry events, build relationships with university engineering programs, and evangelize the Silvus technical mission.
- Maintain accurate and timely data in ATS systems (e.g., Greenhouse, Workday).
- Collaborate with the Human Resources team throughout the offer and onboarding process.
- Provide updates and reporting on hiring activity.
- Partner with the Human Resources team on market and compensation analysis to guide job postings and offers.
- Assist with recruiting team projects, process improvements, and interview training.
- Occasional travel to college campuses for career fairs or recruitment activities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field plus a minimum of 8 years of full-cycle recruiting experience; or a High School Diploma plus 12 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
- Experience must include a focus on defense, aerospace, electronics manufacturing, communications, or networking technology.
- Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience supporting engineering disciplines such as hardware, electrical, mechanical, RF engineering, wireless communications, embedded software, FPGA, or systems engineering.
- Strong experience with data-driven sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Handshake, Boolean/X-ray searches).
- Experience using ATS systems (e.g., Greenhouse, Workday, Lever).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts.
- All employment is contingent upon successful clearance of a background check and drug test.

Pay
$130,000 - $160,000 annually. Pay varies based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Schedule
Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 onsite days per week (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays).
Travel
10-25% travel required, including occasional visits to college campuses for recruitment activities.
