About the role
The AI and Infrastructure team is redefining what’s possible by delivering AI and infrastructure at unparalleled scale, efficiency, reliability, and velocity. This role leads complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects, managing requirements, schedules, risks, and stakeholder communications. You’ll optimize global operations for assets and tooling, focusing on financial reporting, unit-rate calculations, spend economics, contract processing, and tooling strategy for Google’s infrastructure assets, including land, energy, and network.
The team establishes strategy for development and oversight of tools, processes, and resources critical to managing Google’s assets. You’ll drive executive decision-making, lead internal communications, and use AI to enhance productivity, creativity, and innovation across the team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the roadmap and strategy for Google’s portfolio of first-party tools supporting the asset and infrastructure layer, including resource allocation.
- Lead a governance structure that drives executive decision-making via a digital assets council and manage internal communications with first-party customers.
- Manage the portfolio of software and tooling programs, prioritizing work, allocating resources, and ensuring metrics and talent are in place to drive high performance and organizational impact.
- Identify and implement change management opportunities to increase program velocity and overall impact across multiple teams.
- Use AI to drive productivity, creativity, and innovation across the team, creating conditions for continuous experimentation and learning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in program management.
- 7 years of experience in a leadership role with direct reports.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience managing cross-functional or multi-team projects.
- Knowledge of technical principles, including programming languages, data structures, and debugging.
- Experience in information technology, software, and digital asset development.
- Ability to define structural logic and balance technical trade-offs (e.g., performance, reliability, cost).
- Ability to drive results across an organization and build capabilities at all levels within the team.

Pay
US: $240,000 – $334,000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits.
