About the Role
As a dedicated Senior Talent Sourcer, you will identify, investigate, and select direct and indirect sources for wealth management job candidate talent pools based on strategic business needs. You will create talent pipelines to proactively position staffing needs for current and future business requests. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain relationships with hiring leaders, candidate pools, peer partners, and third-party vendors to deliver candidates for USAA's hiring needs.
This position offers a flexible work environment requiring in-office presence 4 days per week and is based in Plano, TX. Relocation assistance is not available.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for professional and specialized roles, aligned with business priorities and workforce plans.
- Partner with recruiters and hiring leaders to translate hiring needs into targeted, actionable sourcing strategies for specialized and hard-to-fill roles.
- Ensure coordination with recruiters and smooth transitions throughout the hiring process.
- Identify and engage active and passive candidates using multi-channel sourcing strategies, techniques, and research methodologies.
- Align sourcing strategies with USAA's commitment to military talent by applying inclusive sourcing practices and partnering with the Military Talent team to identify and develop a pipeline of military-affiliated candidates.
- Build and maintain diverse talent pipelines to support current and future hiring demand.
- Utilize ATS, CRM, and AI-enabled sourcing tools to track pipeline activity and optimize outcomes.
- Provide market intelligence on talent availability, competitive trends, and candidate expectations to inform recruiting strategies.
- Influence candidate experience through proactive engagement and effective communication.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, applicable employment laws and regulations, including OFCCP and EEO requirements.
- Stay current on sourcing tools, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance sourcing effectiveness.
- Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree; 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- 6 or more years of talent sourcing experience.
- Experience communicating employment value proposition to emerging and passive talent audiences to generate and champion interest.
- Experience with advancing networking, candidate generation, and passive/active sourcing methodologies.
Skills
- Experience sourcing for licensed Wealth Management/Financial Advisor roles for a large financial services company.
- Strong track record of building talent pipelines and sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill and niche positions.
- Strong expertise in Boolean search, talent mapping, and proactive sourcing strategies to engage passive candidates.
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS/CRM systems, and other sourcing tools to build and manage high-quality talent pipelines.
- Ability to use market insights, sourcing data, and outreach metrics to improve pipeline quality and hiring outcomes.
- US military experience through military service or as a military spouse/domestic partner.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $93,770 - $179,240. USAA does not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
