About the role
Join Dorsey’s Legal Talent Management (LTM) team as our Senior Talent Analyst and help leaders make better, faster, data-driven decisions. In this high-visibility role, you’ll translate complex data into executive-ready insights for the Managing Partner and Firm leaders, lead attorney lifecycle analytics, and own the process for annual compensation cycles in close coordination with Finance.
Responsibilities
- Lead data analytics for LTM, in collaboration with HR and PD.
- Drive analytics across the attorney lifecycle, with a focus on associates, and periodically for business professionals as well.
- Own and lead the annual attorney compensation cycles as a process owner; coordinate closely with Finance for advanced analytics/modeling, ensure accurate data inputs/outputs, and verify the accuracy of communications to attorneys.
- Own LTM’s operational and technology infrastructure as it evolves, including Dorsey’s attorney evaluations software and related AI applications.
- Serve as central hub for client/industry surveys, requests for proposal, and benchmarking; maintain a preferred response repository.
- Deliver executive-ready reporting/visualizations; brief leaders on utilization, retention, attrition; surface insights from exit interviews; complete affirmative action reporting.
- Lead the annual attorney compensation process; set timelines/decision protocols; manage inputs/outputs and communications; coordinate with Finance for advanced analytics/modeling; develop policy proposals and lead change management.
- Track workload allocation and recommend solutions with Practice Group Leaders.
- Monitor associate evaluations for trends requiring action.
- Own the evaluations software and related AI applications; drive automation and metrics to improve speed, accuracy, and consistency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, statistics, or related field.
- At least 4 years of HR-related experience with data analysis, project management and reporting metrics.
- Excellent organizational, analytical and project management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to apply sound judgment and a high degree of trustworthiness when handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel.
- Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated, and a demonstrated ability to multi-task and work independently while collaborating effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to enhance processes, suggest improvements, and collaborate with others to generate ideas and improve processes.
- Excellent reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and advanced Excel functions.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and data visualization tools.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a law firm, law school, or other professional setting.

Pay
The pay range for this position in Minnesota only is an annual salary of $96,560 to $124,960.
