About the Role

A Senior Talent Acquisition Recruiter will deliver exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders and external candidates while managing full-cycle recruiting and employment operations for highly technical engineering roles.

Responsibilities

  • Source, screen, and conduct preliminary interviews with prospective candidates.
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and facilitate the selection process for project-specific hiring needs.
  • Extend contingent employment offers in compliance with applicable federal and state employment laws.
  • Manage assigned requisitions, including review, editing, and approval processes.
  • Track and report recruiting and staffing metrics using Microsoft Office applications and applicant tracking systems.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining staffing plans to support workforce requirements.
  • Create, update, and maintain job descriptions based on project scope and business needs.
  • Coordinate employee redeployment efforts and proactively communicate with employees approaching assignment completion.
  • Manage employment administration processes, including background checks, drug screening, health screening, I-9 compliance, E-Verify compliance, onboarding documentation, and site-specific requirements.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for hiring managers and internal stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including recent experience hiring engineering professionals within the nuclear power industry.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting for engineering disciplines including:
    • Instrumentation & Controls (I&C)
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Experience supporting hiring for plant modifications, design engineering, system upgrades, and capital projects.
  • Strong understanding of nuclear industry requirements, including:
    • NRC regulations
    • Nuclear plant operations
    • Design packages
    • Field walkdowns
    • System ownership responsibilities
  • Experience recruiting for digital controls, instrumentation systems, and legacy system modernization projects is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to support project-driven hiring where mobilization schedules, technical qualifications, and staffing timelines are critical.
  • Ability to independently manage engineering recruitment activities and serve as the primary recruiting partner for hiring managers and business leaders.
  • Strong sourcing capabilities with a track record of identifying and engaging passive talent through multiple channels.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or related Human Resources certification.
  • Experience recruiting for highly regulated industries such as nuclear energy, power generation, utilities, engineering consulting, or industrial infrastructure.

Pay

$30–$43 per hour.

This is an onsite, contract position located in Charlotte, NC.
