Senior Systems Analyst 2, Epic IT, Full Time, Days

Responsibilities

• Planner and conductor of feasibility studies in response to user requests for service.
• Schedules meetings with division personnel to define requirements for analytical studies; discusses and evaluates management needs, objectives and goals susceptible to systems solution.
• Performs fact-findings interviews to gather information, analyzes results and arrives at design objectives and decisions.
• Acts as a technical liaison with user departments to coordinate all system development activities.
• Prepares overall system and file design specifications; develops detailed system modification, testing and conversion plans.
• Performs system environmental studies to determine the impact of new systems on the data processing environment and other production systems.
• Performs systems growth studies to aid in capacity planning.
• Communicates with and trains programmers in defining systems and program specifications and ensures programmers have a thorough knowledge of these requirements.
• Act as team leader in the implementation of major systems.
• Provides a high degree of technical knowledge, judgment and initiative in applying probability theory and integrating management information and forecasting systems as well as a high degree of ability in communication skills.

Qualifications

• Generally requires 3 to 5 years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
