Senior Surgical Technician - Outpatient Surgery
About the role
The Senior Surgical Technologist (ST) in the Ambulatory Surgery Center facilitates the surgical procedure by assembling instrumentation, equipment, and supplies. This role is part of the ambulatory surgery center team, working under the supervision of a registered nurse, surgeon, anesthesiologist, and other medical support personnel.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate surgical procedures by preparing instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures.
- Ensure sterile technique and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth operation of the surgical suite.
Requirements
- Completion of a surgical technician vocational program or equivalent training.
- Washington Surgical Technologist Registration.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
- 5 years of experience in an operating room.
Preferred Qualifications
- National certification by the Liaison Council on Certification for Surgical Technologists.
- Experience in an ambulatory surgery center operating room.

Pay
The base pay range for this position is $38.56 - $59.88 per hour. Additional compensation may be available.
Schedule
This position is part-time and works variable hours.
