About the role
We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee our spare management and vendor governance strategies. This role involves mapping existing vendor support models, defining and implementing sparing plans, and ensuring vendors meet their commitments.
Responsibilities
- Document current vendor support models, entitlements, and SLAs across compute, network, and cooling OEMs
- Build a single source of truth for vendor support information
- Learn about current spares movement and identify gaps
- Partner with data center operations and facilities stakeholders
- Define and implement sparing plans, including part types, quantities, and stocking locations
- Build governance frameworks and cadences (QBRs, SLA scorecards) to hold vendors accountable
- Be the primary point of contact for vendor issues
- Provide spares visibility across the business, including availability, consumption rate, and fill rate
- Define KPIs to measure program effectiveness
- Refine processes with vendors and expand strategic sparing and vendor strategy as needed
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in supply chain management, including vendor management
- Prior experience managing supply chain workflows for datacenter or AI hyperscalers
- Experience supporting business operations and being close to operational realities
- Strong cross-functional stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working with team members across the globe, getting hands-on with data, and dealing with ambiguity
- Ability to hold vendors accountable
- Experience in datacenter environments, especially hyperscale operations tied to spares and operations is an added plus
