About the role

We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee our spare parts strategy and vendor governance. The role involves mapping existing vendor support models, building processes for spares availability, and holding vendors accountable.

Responsibilities

  • Document current vendor support models, entitlements, and SLAs across compute, network, and cooling OEMs.
  • Build a single source of truth for vendor support documentation.
  • Learn about current spares movement and identify gaps.
  • Partner with data center operations and facilities to establish working relationships.
  • Define and implement sparing plans, including part types, quantities, and stocking locations.
  • Develop governance frameworks and cadences (quarterly business review meetings, service level agreement scorecards) to hold vendors accountable.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for vendors needing to adhere to commitments.
  • Provide ongoing visibility on spares availability, consumption rates, and fill rates across the business.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the program's effectiveness.
  • Refine processes with vendors on all matters related to spares.
  • Take on increasing responsibility for strategic sparing and vendor strategy as our hardware footprint grows.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in supply chain management, particularly vendor management.
  • Prior experience managing supply chain workflows for data centers or AI hyperscalers.
  • Experience supporting business operations and having a deep understanding of operational realities.
  • Strong cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable working globally, hands-on with data, and dealing with ambiguity.
  • Experience holding vendors accountable.
  • Exposure to datacenter environments, especially hyperscale operations tied to spares and operations, is an advantage.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a strong communication style and a bias for action, with a clear understanding of trade-offs. They should also possess excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Benefits
