About the role
Maven Clinic is seeking a Senior Strategy & Operations Associate to join the Consumer operations team. This role is responsible for independently owning cross-functional operational projects, driving operational readiness for new product and service line launches, and improving the delivery of care to Maven's members.
Responsibilities
- Independently own cross-functional operational projects from problem definition through solution design, execution, and results measurement
- Drive operational readiness for new Consumer product and service line launches by partnering cross-functionally to define workflows, build support infrastructure, and execute an effective MVP while designing for scalability from the start
- Dig into operational and member experience data to identify patterns, surface root causes, and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership and cross-functional partners
- Design, build, and iterate on internal processes, workflows, and tooling that improve efficiency, quality, and consistency for the Consumer Support and Consumer Provider team
- Persistently partner with Product teams to represent the voice of operations: flagging member pain points, defining requirements, and supporting launches of new features or programs
- Develop and maintain reporting infrastructure that tracks operational health, identifies trends, and enables data-driven decision-making across the team
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in operations, strategy & ops, consulting, or a related analytical role
- Experience at a startup or high-growth tech company; healthcare or consumer product experience a plus but not required
- Strong analytical instincts: comfortable digging into large datasets, building models in Excel or Google Sheets, and having experience with SQL or BI tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.)
- A track record of running projects end-to-end — setting the timeline, managing stakeholders, resolving blockers, and driving to completion
- Comfort operating in ambiguity: able to get started with an incomplete picture, make smart assumptions, and adjust as you learn more
- A builder's mentality — seeing a broken process and your first instinct is to fix it, not just document it
- Clear, concise communication skills; able to distill complex problems into crisp summaries for both operational and executive audiences
- High ownership and low ego — taking the work seriously, acting with urgency, and being willing to do the unglamorous execution work as much as the strategic thinking
- Comfort and fluency with AI tools to improve operational workflows and create automation and efficiency

- Active work authorization in the US
