About the role

The Senior Strategy Director, UX at Monks leads experience strategy for one of the world's most visible technology brands. This role focuses on UX Strategy rather than UX Design.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Narrative & Pitching: Lead the Strategic Vision, Sell the Vision, Orchestrate the Journey, and Partner Through Execution.

  • Web Ecosystem Strategy: Define Information Architecture, Customer Journeys, and Content Strategy through a marketing lens, Simplify Complexity, Connect the Dots, and Partner Through Execution.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Digital Strategy, UX Strategy, Experience Strategy, or a closely related discipline.

  • Significant experience leading strategy for enterprise digital experiences.

  • Enterprise Experience: Developed strategy for large-scale websites or digital ecosystems serving global brands.

  • Proven Strategic Leadership: Significant ownership of strategic thinking, from shaping recommendations to presenting confidently to senior client stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Expert proficiency in Keynote and/or Google Slides.

  • Strong expertise in Information Architecture (IA), Customer Journey Mapping, Content Strategy, and UX fundamentals.

  • Ability to connect digital experience recommendations to business and marketing outcomes.

  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and storytelling skills.

  • Comfortable collaborating across Creative, UX Design, Production, Engineering, and Client teams.

Skills

Pay

The anticipated salary range for this role varies by geographic location. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, interview assessment, skills, geographic location, and internal equity.

Schedule

This role is subject to Monks' Return to Office (RTO) policy. If you reside within a commutable distance of one of our office locations, you will be expected to work from the office a set number of days per week. The specific details, including the number of required office days, will be in accordance with the company’s then-current RTO policy, which is subject to change from time to time.
