Senior Director, UX Strategy

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director, UX Strategy to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This leader will shape a multi-year experience strategy that aligns client needs with business priorities across a complex enterprise environment. The role will partner closely with Product and Technology to turn research, feedback, and insights into actionable roadmaps and cohesive solution experiences. You will also guide multidisciplinary UX teams, strengthen standards for usability and quality, and influence senior stakeholders on client-centered decisions. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Define a multi-year UX strategy and roadmap for client personas
• Lead and develop UX teams, clarifying priorities and growth paths
• Understand client needs through research and feedback
• Establish a cohesive experience portfolio for tailored solutions
• Partner with Product and Tech to create actionable experience roadmaps
• Advocate for client-centered prioritization in strategic decisions
• Monitor and set standards for experience quality and usability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred
• 12+ years of experience in UX, product design, or experience strategy
• 5+ years managing and developing multidisciplinary UX teams
• Proven track record in developing enterprise-scale experience strategies
• Strong knowledge of UX research, design systems, and analytics
• Experience in matrixed organizations influencing senior stakeholders
• Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills
