Skill Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Develop commerce search strategies aligned with client goals
  • Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis
  • Identify growth opportunities from search behavior
  • Optimize discoverability across major retailer platforms
  • Improve ranking, visibility, and share of search
  • Align optimization efforts with keywords, taxonomy, and content
  • Collaborate with Content and Creative teams to improve PDP quality
  • Present insights and recommendations clearly
  • Lead search strategy workstreams
  • Stay current on AI-driven search and retailer algorithms
  • Contribute to thought leadership

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SEO, SEM, or similar digital marketing roles
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful commerce search strategies
  • Experience working with major e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, Target, Instacart, and Kroger
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with content optimization and improving product detail pages (PDPs)
  • Understanding of AI-driven search and retailer algorithms

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience with Google Analytics and other web analytics tools
  • Experience with social media marketing and influencer partnerships
  • Experience with customer journey mapping and user experience design

Pay

The U.S. pay range for this position is $80,000 USD - $90,000 USD annually. Ultimately, in determining pay, we will consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
