Senior Staff Accountant (CONTRACT ROLE)

Location: N. Dallas (hybrid) – on-site presence three times per week.

About the role

We are seeking a highly professional, well-spoken, and detail-oriented Accounting Consultant for a contract engagement through April 2026.

Responsibilities

• Full-cycle general ledger accounting, including month-end close.
• Perform detailed accounting tasks such as prepaids, accruals, and journal entries.
• Utilize ERP systems to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
• Assist in preparing month-end close and financial documents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various accounting initiatives and projects.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in full-cycle accounting.
• Proficiency in major ERP systems is highly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional demeanor and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Pay

Hourly rate: $35–$45 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
