Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and finalize bills in accordance with firm and client requirements and billing attorney directives.
- Review proformas, handle subsequent corrections, and coordinate e-billing.
- Prepare and finalize invoices in line with internal and external regulation and legislation, including VAT, Criminal Finances Act Solicitors’ Accounts Rules, and money laundering regulations, as applicable.
- Ensure successful delivery of invoices and coordinate with revenue and e-billing teams for submission, and help resolve rejections and reductions.
- Generate and review proformas from 3E for informational and billing purposes.
- Utilize computerized billing and payable software modules to complete the billing process and client refunds, and research and provide information to customers.
- Protect and maintain any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains.
Qualifications
- Possess superior ability to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels within an organization.
- Demonstrate proven ability to manage your workload and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
- Exhibit demonstrated strong technology skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Additional Information
- A high school diploma or equivalent, preferably a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably.
- A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in a legal, accounting, finance, or equivalent industry, preferably.
- Experience using financial systems, preferably.

Pay
USD $80,000.00 - USD $95,000.00 /Yr.
