Responsibilities
- Develop an integrated social strategy across business units — partnering closely with business marketing teams to translate their broader insight-led strategies into a clear social plan while also supporting corporate initiatives and brand-level stories that extend beyond business unit priorities.
- This includes aligning organic, influencer/creator, and paid efforts to support campaigns, storytelling, and business objectives from awareness through conversion, and driving social for both individual campaigns and the brand overall.
- Establish and scale Lutron's social media practice from the ground up — defining the playbooks, workflows, and standards that allow social to operate as a true center of excellence across the company.
- Serve as the connective tissue across business units — partnering with teams company-wide to align social efforts, drive social for individual campaigns, and elevate the brand's overall social presence.
- Define KPIs tied to business outcomes (qualified reach, engaged view rate, shares/saves, CTR to site) and turn performance data into actionable insights through the creation of a dashboard — using Sprout Social or equivalent to manage publishing, listening, engagement, and reporting across channels.
- Connect social strategy to modern discovery behavior – organic search, SEO/AIO, social search, and AI/agentic search.
- Lead community management and influential voice engagement, monitor conversations, respond to comments, identify risks, and surface rapid-response and campaign-planning opportunities while proactively recognizing and engaging internal brand ambassadors, third-party partners, creators, and influencers who can help strengthen and extend the brand.
- Own the social content calendar and oversee content development for paid and organic campaigns — including product launches, influencer collaborations, and brand moments — in partnership with marketing teams across domestic and international audiences.
- Manage agency and vendor relationships while leveling up social capability company-wide — setting clear briefs and holding partners accountable to quality and outcomes, and partnering with business units and their agencies to elevate their social know-how through trainings, brainstorms, and content reviews.
