Senior Service Technician
The Position
We are a growing company looking to add an experienced senior service technician to support our customers’ service needs on packaging equipment. Our ideal candidate would have more than 4 years of experience in a maintenance or installation type role looking to advance their skillset even further. The pay range we’re offering starts at $38-50/Hour ($79k-$104k), commensurate with experience.

Requirements
- 4+ years Field Service experience in packaging or repair field
- Advanced knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical (High & Low Voltages) concepts
- Understand the essential principles of PLC’s, VFD’s, Sensors, Switches, Relays
- Able to read CAD drawings
- Excellent ability in troubleshooting and repairing equipment
- Able to work in challenging and time-sensitive situations
- Valid Driver’s License (Company Vehicle Provided)
Responsibilities
- Complete daily field service repairs on customers’ packaging equipment- Packaging equipment including, but not limited to: Stretch Wrappers, Case Sealers, Strapping Machines/Hand Tools, Shrink Systems, Balers, Palletizers, Bagging Machine, etc.
- Collaborate with the Sales Team to support machinery sales
- Lead large machine installation projects with other Service Technicians
- Perform planned maintenance on customers’ equipment
- Complete service tickets at the end of each service call documenting the visit, including service performed, service time, travel time and parts required.
- Work directly with customers to resolve equipment issues
- Install and train customers on new equipment placements
- Obtain parts information and submit parts requests to Service Coordinator to aid in completing repairs
- Train up new Service Techs as needed

Pay
$38-50/Hour ($79k-$104k), commensurate with experience
Schedule
40-hour work week, OT as needed and optional
Less than 5% overnight travel, home daily
Travel of up to 8 Hours of driving daily using company vehicles
