Senior Service Technician

About the role

Perform service calls to multi-family and light commercial properties for repair and maintenance. Diagnose issues and complete repairs on site.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose HVAC air handlers, condensers, and package units.
• Input service notes in field service application.
• Work with dispatch on ordering parts.
• Communicate with property management.
• Keep work vehicle stocked.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 7 years of previous experience in HVAC.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• EPA certification.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License.

Skills

• Basic computer/tablet knowledge.
• Low and high voltage troubleshooting.
• Conventional HVAC system changeout knowledge.
• Compressor changeouts.
• Blower and condenser fan motor replacements.

Desired Qualifications

• VRF and mini split training or experience.
• Experience diagnosing HVAC issues in multi-family apartment buildings.
