About the role
We believe strong diagnostics, professionalism, and customer trust build long-term success — not pushy sales tactics or inflated invoices. This is a hands-on, independent field role for an experienced Service Plumber who diagnoses, repairs, installs, and maintains residential and commercial plumbing systems in occupied homes and businesses.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing issues
- Install and repair fixtures, valves, water heaters, drainage systems, and water service components
- Install, repair, and troubleshoot backflow devices, water filtration systems, water softeners, smart water systems, and related plumbing equipment
- Perform drain cleaning, sewer camera inspections, jetting, leak detection, and troubleshooting
- Inspect plumbing systems for safety, code compliance, and functionality
- Build estimates and communicate repair recommendations professionally
- Complete invoices, photos, notes, and documentation daily per company procedures
- Maintain organized truck inventory and communicate material needs proactively
- Follow company pricing standards and service procedures consistently
- Communicate clearly with customers, scheduling, purchasing, and leadership teams
- Represent Chad’s Water Works Plumbing professionally on every call
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Service Plumber independently running your own service truck (apprentice time does not count)
- Experience in residential & commercial service plumbing required
- Valid Florida driver’s license with clean record
- Drug-free and background check ready
- Strong communicator and team leader
- Dependable, coachable, and respectful
- Arrives on time, fully stocked, and prepared for the day
Qualifications
- Knowledge of CPVC, PEX, copper, cast iron, and PVC drainage systems
- Strong plumbing & gas troubleshooting and diagnostic ability
- Experience with drain machines, sewer cameras, jetters, leak detection, and service equipment
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers and team members

Pay
$25.00 – $30.00+ per hour ($52,000–$90,000+ annually based on overtime availability), plus tips, incentive pay, and performance-based bonus opportunities.
