Senior Scrum Master

SAIC in support of the Ground Based Radar (GBR) Maintenance and Sustainment Services (GMASS) contract seeks an enthusiastic and outgoing Senior Scrum Master to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This role supports Agile Release Train (ART) events, processes, and assists teams in delivering mission and customer value.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a facilitator of Agile events and processes including Value Stream Mapping, Roadmap creation, Backlog management, Program Increment (PI) Planning, Product Owner Sync, Scrum of Scrums, PI Review, Demonstrations, Retrospectives, and Inspect and Adapt Workshops
• Act as a Scrum Master working with mission owners, stakeholders (including customers), Product Owners, Kanban leads, and Team members to ensure alignment of program processes and practices with Agile/DevSecOps principles and desired business and mission outcomes
• Improve the flow of value through Value Streams by enhancing and assessing DevSecOps and Release on Demand practices in the Continuous Delivery Pipeline
• Facilitate Regular System Demos to verify Acceptance Criteria and showcase Features to Stakeholders
• Foster Communities of Practice (CoP) and promote the use of Engineering and Built-In Quality practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of related experience
• Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one
• Industry-recognized Agile certification (Scaled Agile, Scrum.org, Scrum, Inc., Scrum Alliance, or PMI)
• Experience coaching multi-functional teams to achieve common goals

Desired Qualifications

• Experience guiding Agile teams on common scaling principles, frameworks, and patterns through coaching and education
• Experience driving continuous improvement and common processes across diverse stakeholder groups
• Prior experience with the DoD, SSC, or US Space Force
• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)

Pay

Target salary range: $80,001 – $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
