Senior Scientist – Protein Expression Sciences (Antibody Discovery)

About the role

The Senior Scientist will lead antibody discovery programs, analyze complex datasets, and communicate key findings to internal stakeholders. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously within a cross-functional team environment
• Establish and communicate timelines across research teams, both within and outside the department
• Analyze primary screening data using a variety of software tools and select antibodies with desired functional properties
• Ensure accurate and complete capture of experimental data in internal databases and repositories
• Present results from antibody discovery campaigns to team members, cross-functional partners, and senior leadership
• Mine and summarize data to support process improvements and enhance discovery pipelines

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or a related field with 2–4 years of relevant experience
• Working knowledge of immunology, including antibody generation, structure, and characterization (strongly preferred)
• Proven experience analyzing large datasets and synthesizing results into clear conclusions
• Experience with multi-well assays used in drug screening and high-throughput data analysis (preferred)

Qualifications

• Strong project management, analytical, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with basic scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, R, or workflow tools), which is a plus but not required
• Experience with laboratory automation and data management systems (e.g., LIMS), which is a plus
• A strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals (preferred)
