Senior Associate Scientist - Protein Expression Science
About the role
The Senior Associate Scientist will perform high throughput molecular biology techniques including PCR, cloning and DNA isolation. They will operate and troubleshoot automated protocols on automated systems such as Hamilton Robotics and HighRes Biosolutions. Additionally, they will seed and transfect CHO transient cell lines on automated platforms. The role involves data recording in ELN and LIMS.
Responsibilities
- Perform high throughput molecular biology techniques including PCR, cloning and DNA isolation.
- Operate and troubleshoot automated protocols on automated systems such as Hamilton Robotics and HighRes Biosolutions.
- Seeding and transfecting of CHO transient cell lines on automated platform.
- Data recording in ELN (electronic lab notebook) and LIMS.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, Biology, or related field.
- Experience with general molecular biology skills such as PCR, DNA sequencing, mutagenesis, plasmid subcloning and mammalian cell transfection.
- Familiarity with automated liquid handlers, preferably Hamilton Stars, Vantages and HighRes RIME.
- Experience in high-throughput assays is a plus.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of laboratory experience.

Pay
$80,300.00 - $131,100.00 annually
