Responsibilities

  • Develop and advance next-generation phage display methodologies — including guided selection strategies, structure-informed panning, and epitope-directed approaches — expanding platform capabilities well beyond conventional campaign execution.
  • Apply deep mutational scanning and NGS-based repertoire analysis to extract mechanistic insight, inform library design, and build predictive models of antibody fitness landscapes.
  • Develop new phage display selection strategies for challenging targets such as membrane proteins and conformational epitopes.
  • Shape intellectual property and advance the field through inventorship and high-impact publications.
  • Partner with structural biology to leverage cryo-EM, crystallography, and molecular dynamics data to drive rational, structure-guided engineering decisions.
  • Integrate AI/ML and computational tools into phage display workflows, leveraging generative protein design, protein language models, and in silico affinity prediction to accelerate lead identification and optimization.

Qualifications

  • PhD in Molecular Biology or related field.
  • Experience in sophisticated phage display with emphasis on method and technology development.
  • High-impact publication record preferred.
  • Desire to work at the interface of experimental and computational antibody engineering.
