What You Will Have an Opportunity To Do
Cambria Hotel Austin Downtown is seeking a results-driven and relationship-focused Senior Sales Manager to join our Sales & Marketing team. The role involves driving revenue growth, managing strategic client relationships, and maximizing group, corporate, and event sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve assigned revenue, room night, and profitability goals.
Possess strong knowledge of group sales, corporate accounts, and the Austin hospitality market.
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, meeting planners, third-party partners, and community organizations.
Manage the sales process from initial inquiry through execution while ensuring exceptional client service.
Drive repeat business through proactive account management and relationship building.
Respond to leads and RFPs promptly while maintaining outstanding customer service standards.
Prepare proposals, contracts, presentations, and sales materials.
Maintain accurate client information, activities, and forecasts within sales systems.
Participate in sales meetings, revenue strategy discussions, and performance reviews.
Partner with Revenue Management, Event Planning, Operations, and Marketing teams to maximize opportunities and deliver successful events.
Serve as a senior sales resource by sharing market insights and supporting team success.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
Minimum 5 years of hotel sales experience, preferably in an upscale, lifestyle, or full-service hotel.
Proven success achieving sales goals and driving revenue growth.
Strong knowledge of Delphi FDC, CVENT, Knowland, and Microsoft Office preferred.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
