About the Role
As a Senior Regional Director, you are responsible for the overall performance and revenue of a region consisting of 20-25 club locations. You will directly supervise approximately 4-5 District Managers and report to the COO. This strategic position requires partnering closely with cross-functional Regional Directors and District Managers to create and execute initiatives that increase member retention, revenue/sales, and employee engagement. Frequent club visits and visibility are required. Ideal candidates will reside within the region they are assigned to support.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a team of high-performing District Managers to deliver results across all club functions, including operations, sales, and fitness.
- Manage, coach, and develop District Managers by communicating clear expectations, monitoring performance, and providing feedback.
- Identify performance strengths and gaps to maximize the potential of your District Managers.
- Participate in monthly succession planning sessions to build a bench of next-level club and district leaders.
- Establish KPIs aligned with sales, fitness, and operations goals.
- Model leadership behaviors that reflect company values and culture, including accountability, consistency, integrity, respect, and recognition.
- Conduct weekly leadership calls to review results and set direction, translating the strategic regional vision into specific tasks and goals for District Managers.
- Establish consistent communication plans, processes, and workflow cadence.
- Collaborate with the COO to identify goals and KPIs for each club and create a regional scorecard/dashboard.
- Analyze sales data, trends, member attrition, facilities, and equipment reports to optimize sales efforts, improve member retention, and increase operational efficiency.
- Leverage the regional P&L to identify trends and set direction to achieve goals.
- Develop and communicate regional sales strategies, KPIs, and tactics to increase membership enrollment, fitness sales, and member retention.
- Remove obstacles and identify opportunities to increase revenue growth.
- Provide insight to marketing and cross-functional leaders regarding sales promotions and campaigns to drive results.
- Routinely conduct audits to identify outliers, variance in data, and compliance gaps.
- Partner with the Regional Director of Operations to ensure sales strategies align with operational goals and member experience initiatives.
- Serve as a liaison between sales teams and corporate leadership, ensuring field insights and challenges are communicated effectively.
- Participate in regional and company sales meetings, contributing to the development of company-wide sales strategies and sharing best practices.
- Leverage resources from Human Resources, Marketing, Finance, Facilities, and subject matter experts.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of multi-unit leadership experience, ideally within fitness, retail, or hospitality industries.
- Minimum 2 years overseeing leaders managing leaders.
- Prior experience leading teams in a performance-driven company.
- Proven track record of leveraging P&L and metrics to drive business decisions.
- Strong business acumen, critical thinking, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, delegation, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to operate at a strategic level while also shifting to tactical execution when needed.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel frequently to clubs in the region.
- Ideal candidates will reside in the region assigned to support (McAllen preferred).
Pay
$110,000–$120,000 base salary.
