General Summary and Purpose
Victory Capital (NASDAQ: VCTR) is a diversified global asset management firm serving institutional, intermediary, and individual clients through various investment strategies. This position represents Victory Capital and its mutual funds, ETFs, and SMA solutions within the RIA market segment. The Senior Regional Director acts as a Wealth Advisor Specialist, providing technical information and consulting on practice management and portfolio construction.
Responsibilities
- Represent VCM mutual funds, ETFs, and SMAs to advisors knowledgeably and effectively, highlighting product benefits relative to competitors.
- Share business-building ideas and strategies with financial advisors.
- Provide expert perspective in client meetings.
- Offer and coordinate client marketing assistance to advisors (e.g., client and prospect seminars).
- Provide advisors technical information.
- Collaborate with other business partners to align activities and plans for the given region and its advisors.
Requirements
- Strong project management and selling skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent listening skills with a natural inclination to focus on customer needs.
- Knowledge of the equity and fixed income markets as well as asset allocation strategies.
- High level of self-motivation with strong integrity and ethics.
- Track activities and maintain contact information & interaction in CRM.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in the investments industry.
- 3-5+ years of wholesaling experience.
- Required licenses: Series 7 and Series 63/65 or 66.
- Designations: CIMA / CFA.
- Bachelor’s Degree Required.
