The Senior Recruiting Specialist is responsible for day-to-day recruiting activities and implementing recruiting processes and strategies, supporting hiring managers to identify, engage, assess, and hire the best candidates to meet the company’s growing and changing business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for multiple concurrent requisitions across manufacturing, engineering, operations, sales, and corporate functions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to scope roles, set hiring criteria, and build realistic hiring plans and timelines.
  • Collaborate to understand specific position requirements, job responsibilities, and how they relate to business goals.
  • Provide hiring managers with comprehensive assessment on candidate background, work history, career progression, alignment to role and company culture, compensation, and employment restrictions.
  • Source active and passive candidates through job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, employee referrals, and direct outreach, including for specialized or technical talent.
  • Screen resumes and conduct phone/video interviews to assess skills, experience, and fit against defined criteria.
  • Manage all communication and relationships with candidates and others involved in the search process, ensuring timely, professional correspondence.
  • Coordinate interview loops, gather structured feedback, and drive timely, consensus-based hiring decisions.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring or historically hard-to-fill roles.
  • Track and report recruiting metrics and use them to inform strategy and operational efficiency.
  • Identify and lead improvements to recruiting processes, ATS workflows, and interview practices.
  • Sell the culture and benefits to engage and recruit top talent to the organization.
  • Ensure all recruitment practices comply with relevant local, state, and federal employment laws, as well as best practices within the search and recruitment field. Provide guidance to hiring managers to ensure the same.
  • Effectively manage a high degree of confidential information and ensure it is communicated or maintained appropriately.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including sourcing, screening, offer negotiation, and pipeline management.
  • Demonstrated success in recruitment, preferably with both exempt and non-exempt roles, as well as technical, manufacturing, engineering, or industrial roles.
  • Proficiency with ATS and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience influencing and coaching hiring managers.
  • General/strong knowledge of key business functions and/or industries, with the ability to relate to requirements in areas such as finance, marketing, operations, sales, or information systems.
  • Practical knowledge of compensation practices and market trends to effectively support offer package development.
  • Proven ability to understand and implement effective recruiting strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience recruiting within manufacturing, automotive, heavy equipment, or EV/clean-tech industries.
  • Familiarity with workforce planning, compensation benchmarking, or employer branding initiatives.
  • Ability to develop creative and innovative sourcing strategies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
  • Work in a stationary position up to 75% of the time.
