About the role

As a Senior Recruiter, you will provide full-cycle recruiting support for Asplundh Power, with a primary focus on specialized field, technical, and engineering positions. This role will recruit Field Service Technicians, Field Technicians, Relay and Transformer Technicians, Commissioning Engineers, and other power-industry professionals. The ideal candidate has experience recruiting difficult-to-find technical talent and can build strong partnerships with operational leaders in a fast-paced, geographically dispersed business.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting from intake through offer acceptance for assigned Asplundh Power positions.
  • Proactively source specialized field and technical talent across electrical testing, commissioning, substations, transformers, protection and control, and related power services.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand technical requirements, certifications, travel expectations, and business priorities.
  • Screen candidates for relevant technical experience, certifications, compensation expectations, travel flexibility, and overall fit.
  • Build pipelines for recurring and difficult-to-fill positions across multiple markets.
  • Provide hiring leaders with market insight regarding talent availability, compensation, and potential hiring barriers.
  • Deliver a responsive, high-quality experience for candidates and hiring managers while maintaining accurate recruiting data.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including technical, field-service, engineering, or skilled-trade recruiting.
  • Experience recruiting within electrical power systems, utilities, energy infrastructure, industrial services, or a related technical industry.
  • Strong proactive sourcing skills and the ability to engage passive candidates in competitive talent markets.
  • Ability to understand technical job requirements, assess relevant or transferable experience, and advise hiring managers effectively.
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-through, with the ability to manage competing priorities and multiple searches in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment & Preferences

  • Work Model: Hybrid
  • Preferred Schedule: Monday through Friday during standard business hours
  • Travel Requirements: Occasional travel as needed
