Magnopus is looking for a Senior Recruiter to help us build exceptional teams across technology, product, art, design, creative and production disciplines. We're looking for an experienced recruiter who enjoys building relationships, uncovering great talent and helping teams make confident hiring decisions. This is a highly collaborative role where you'll partner closely with leaders across Product, Engineering, Production, Art, Design, Creative and Operations to identify hiring needs, attract exceptional people and support the continued growth of the business. You'll manage recruitment across a wide variety of disciplines and play an important role in ensuring candidates have a positive, engaging experience throughout the hiring process. Along the way, you'll provide market insight, help stakeholders navigate hiring challenges and contribute to the continued evolution of our recruiting practices. Location This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of two days per week working from our Downtown Los Angeles office. What Makes This Role Different We're not looking for someone who simply manages a recruiting process. We're looking for someone who acts as a genuine partner to hiring managers - someone who can provide perspective, challenge assumptions when needed and help teams make great hiring decisions. Our environment is fast-moving and priorities can change frequently. Success in this role requires sound judgement, adaptability and a willingness to take ownership of outcomes rather than simply completing tasks. You'll often be balancing immediate hiring needs with longer-term talent planning, helping stakeholders navigate ambiguity while maintaining momentum and delivering a great candidate experience. What You'll Do Manage full-cycle recruitment across a variety of technical, creative, production and operational rolesPartner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruiting strategiesSource and engage high-quality candidates through a variety of channelsScreen and assess candidates against both role requirements and organisational fitGuide candidates through the hiring process and provide an excellent candidate experienceCoordinate interview processes and facilitate effective hiring decisionsSupport offer creation, negotiation and onboarding activitiesBuild and maintain talent pipelines for future hiring needsProvide market insight, talent intelligence and recruiting guidance to stakeholdersHelp identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes and ways of workingWork across teams to remove barriers and maintain hiring momentum What Will Help You Succeed In This Role Experience managing full-cycle recruitment in a technical, creative, gaming, entertainment or technology environmentStrong sourcing and candidate engagement skillsExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsThe ability to build credibility with stakeholders at multiple levels of the organisationStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyComfort operating in environments where priorities and requirements may change frequentlyA proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem solvingThe ability to influence outcomes without relying on formal authorityStrong judgement and a collaborative mindsetA genuine desire to help others succeed Even better if you also have Experience recruiting within gaming, creative technology, VFX or media & entertainment organisationsExperience supporting distributed international teamsExperience recruiting technical and creative talent across multiple disciplinesExperience helping to improve recruiting processes, tools or operational practicesExperience working in scaling or evolving organisations We don't expect anyone to tick every box If you're excited by the opportunity to help build great teams, enjoy working with smart and creative people, and believe you could be successful in the role, we'd love to hear from you.
