Job Summary

The Senior Recruiter is responsible for working hand in hand with department leadership to ensure that operational hiring needs are being met in a timely and efficient fashion. The ideal candidate is experienced in recruiting across a wide variety of positions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Recruiting Department leadership to understand the hiring needs of the business
  • Interview top candidates sourced by the sourcing team before deciding if they will move forward to the hiring manager
  • On occasion, be prepared to run your own custom candidate searches for highly urgent or complex roles
  • Brainstorm and implement new sourcing methods (e.g. social recruiting and Boolean searches)
  • Be aware of recruitment software and proactive about suggesting potential options that suit company needs
  • Participate in job fairs and career events on occasion
  • Build the company’s professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges and other partners

Qualifications

  • Expert-level experience in the full-cycle recruitment process
  • High level of proficiency with recruiting tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed
  • Hands-on experience with candidate databases and resume aggregators
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong experience with (phone and in-person) interviews, candidate screening and evaluation
  • Familiarity with social media and other professional networks (like GitHub, LinkedIn, etc)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and team management skills
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Interpersonal skills including tact, patience, and courtesy
  • Experience And Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Recruiting Agency experience preferred. Understanding of Boolean search strings preferred. Strong organizational and multitasking ability; strong time management and prioritization skills.
