Job Summary
The Senior Recruiter is responsible for working hand in hand with department leadership to ensure that operational hiring needs are being met in a timely and efficient fashion. The ideal candidate is experienced in recruiting across a wide variety of positions in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Work with Recruiting Department leadership to understand the hiring needs of the business
- Interview top candidates sourced by the sourcing team before deciding if they will move forward to the hiring manager
- On occasion, be prepared to run your own custom candidate searches for highly urgent or complex roles
- Brainstorm and implement new sourcing methods (e.g. social recruiting and Boolean searches)
- Be aware of recruitment software and proactive about suggesting potential options that suit company needs
- Participate in job fairs and career events on occasion
- Build the company’s professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges and other partners
Qualifications

- Expert-level experience in the full-cycle recruitment process
- High level of proficiency with recruiting tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed
- Hands-on experience with candidate databases and resume aggregators
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong experience with (phone and in-person) interviews, candidate screening and evaluation
- Familiarity with social media and other professional networks (like GitHub, LinkedIn, etc)
- Excellent verbal and written communication and team management skills
- Strong decision-making skills
- Interpersonal skills including tact, patience, and courtesy
- Experience And Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Recruiting Agency experience preferred. Understanding of Boolean search strings preferred. Strong organizational and multitasking ability; strong time management and prioritization skills.
