The Opportunity

Are you the person who can fill a role, build a pipeline, challenge a hiring manager's assumptions, analyze recruiting data, and improve the process all before lunch?

JRK Property Holdings is seeking a Senior Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team and serve as a strategic hiring partner across our growing multifamily, hospitality, and corporate portfolio.

What You'll Do

  • Talent Acquisition Leadership:
    • Lead full-cycle recruitment for multifamily, hospitality, and corporate positions, with a primary focus on leadership-level, hard-to-fill, and high-impact roles.
    • Develop creative sourcing strategies to identify and engage both active and passive candidates.
    • Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and recurring positions across the organization.
    • Partner with hiring managers throughout the recruiting process, serving as a trusted advisor on talent availability, compensation expectations, interview strategy, and candidate selection.
  • Strategy & Partnership:
    • Collaborate with operational and executive leadership to understand business objectives and develop recruiting strategies that support workforce needs.
    • Participate in workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational growth initiatives.
    • Provide market intelligence on hiring trends, competitor activity, compensation benchmarks, and talent availability.
  • Analytics & Continuous Improvement:
    • Monitor and analyze recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, candidate conversion rates, and hiring outcomes.
    • Utilize data and reporting to identify trends, improve recruiting performance, and influence hiring decisions.
    • Evaluate current recruiting processes and recommend improvements that enhance efficiency, candidate experience, and hiring success.
    • Help develop and maintain recruiting procedures, training resources, and best practices for hiring managers and interview teams.
  • Employer Brand & Candidate Experience:
    • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from initial outreach through onboarding.
    • Create compelling job advertisements and recruitment marketing content.
    • Support recruiting events, job fairs, networking initiatives, and employer branding efforts.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a corporate, agency, or blended environment.
  • Proven success recruiting leadership, specialized, or difficult-to-fill positions.
  • Strong passive sourcing and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders and hiring managers in a consultative capacity.
  • Ability to analyze recruiting metrics and use data to drive decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and project management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with multiple competing priorities.
  • Experience within multifamily, hospitality, real estate, or related industries is preferred.

The Details

  • Full-time, Monday through Friday.
  • Supports our West Los Angeles office.
  • Travel up to 50% as business needs require.

Qualifications

  • Required Skills and Abilities:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret recruiting data and provide actionable recommendations.
    • Demonstrated ability to influence hiring decisions and build credibility with senior leadership.
    • Ability to manage multiple high-priority and confidential searches simultaneously.
    • Strong consultative and relationship-building skills.
    • Experience developing recruiting processes, procedures, and best practices.
    • Knowledge of talent market trends, compensation benchmarking, and workforce planning principles.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write and speak clearly and free of typos or grammatical mistakes.
    • Willingness and desire to cold call candidates as needed to fill open positions.
    • Treats everyone with respect and dignity, accepts responsibility and takes ownership of tasks, follows through on commitments, and maintains confidentiality.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet goals and deadlines.
    • Ability to function well in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree is required, and a minimum of five to seven years of experience as a recruiter either in a corporate or agency setting; including experience recruiting for leadership, specialized, and difficult-to-fill position.
    • Demonstrated experience supporting senior leaders, executives, and key business stakeholders.
    • Experience developing recruitment metrics, dashboards, and hiring analytics.
    • Experience creating and implementing recruiting processes and process improvements.
    • Experience within multifamily, hospitality, real estate, or related industries strongly preferred.
    • Experience with applicant tracking and onboarding systems a plus.
    • English/Spanish verbal and written skills highly desired.
    • Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws, regulations, and agency rules about recruitment and selection; current human resources certification preferred.
    • Understanding of the commercial real estate industry multifamily sector is preferred but not required.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Expected work hours: 7:30 to 5:00, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends.
    • Travel: Up to 50%.
    • Work environment and physical demands: General office environment.
    • FLSA Status: Exempt.
