Duties
- Plan, assign, train, and evaluate the work of Psychiatric Technicians (PT) and other assigned staff in a mental health service line delivery area.
- Receive, disseminate, and implement policies and procedures, and ensure the continuity of quality patient care.
- May be assigned the most difficult or complex patients in a therapy program.
- Actively participate in and support the Complete Care Model.
Qualifications
Education: A high school diploma or GED is required.
Experience: At least two years of experience working as a Psychiatric Technician in a correctional facility setting.
Licensure/Certification: Must possess a current California State license as a Psychiatric Technician (PT).
Skills: Proficiency in using computer software, including Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of psychiatric medications and their effects. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and visitors.

Pay
Salary range: $49,000 - $61,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
Schedule
Full-time schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday.
