About the role
Marsh’s is seeking a Senior Property Broker to join their Risk Management Placement team in New York, NY or Morristown, NJ.
Responsibilities
- Lead property damage and business interruption advisory and placement for some of our largest companies.
- Analyze and assess complex property and business interruption risks.
- Design and structure comprehensive insurance programs and coverage frameworks.
- Market insurance programs and negotiate with national and international insurers.
- Provide technical leadership and subject-matter expertise within the Property Practice.
- Support standards, templates, and best practices for the team.
- Stay up to date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices.
- Support cross-organizational initiatives, including sales efforts and ad hoc projects to improve service models and processes.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with property insurance, with proven technical expertise.
- Proven track record with large, complex property risks.
- Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional accreditation.
- Strong analytical skills in risk assessment and program design.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high ambition for quality.

Pay
The applicable base salary range for this role is $154,200 to $328,400. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
Schedule
All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.
