Marsh is seeking a Senior Property Broker to join our Risk Management Placement team in New York.

Responsibilities

  • Lead property damage and business interruption advisory and placement for some of our largest companies.
  • Analyze and assess complex property and business interruption risks.
  • Design and structure comprehensive insurance programs and coverage frameworks.
  • Market insurance programs and negotiate with national and international insurers.
  • Provide technical leadership and subject-matter expertise within the Property Practice.
  • Support standards, templates, and best practices for the team.
  • Stay up to date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices.
  • Support cross-organizational initiatives, including sales efforts and ad hoc projects to improve service models and processes.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with property insurance, with proven technical expertise.
  • Proven track record with large, complex property risks.
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional accreditation.
  • Strong analytical skills in risk assessment and program design.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high ambition for quality.
  • Commercial mindset and international outlook.

Pay

The applicable base salary range for this role is $154,200 to $328,400. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

Schedule

  • Hybrid work model: colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week.
  • Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.
