Senior Program Manager, Middle Mile Fleet Management, Strategy and Process

About the role

Amazon's Middle Mile is seeking a Sr. Program Manager with a proven track record of driving cost optimization and pricing control strategies for the company's Middle Mile Maintenance Program. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, innovation, and a customer-centric approach.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute cost optimization initiatives
• Manage pricing agreements with vendors
• Drive spend efficiency across Amazon Middle Mile Fleet
• Own program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicate results to senior leadership
• Navigate ambiguous problems, develop solutions, and drive projects forward with minimal guidance
• Think strategically while executing methodically to deliver to the highest standards
• Present complex information clearly and concisely to various audiences
• Have a strong entrepreneurial orientation and willingness to roll up their sleeves in a start-up-like environment

Requirements

• 5+ years of program/project management experience
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
• Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
• Master's degree or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design, or related field
• Knowledge of general AI tools
• Experience designing, implementing, and scaling upskilling, apprenticeship, or workforce development programs across large-scale operations or corporate environments, including forecasting workforce needs and leveraging analytics to drive program decisions
