Senior Program Control Analyst, CEMA ISS (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

  • Supporting weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting requirements
  • Support the development, review and presentation of financial forecasts, including the Operating Plan, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and the long-term Integrated Business Plan (IBP)
  • Through pricing basis of estimates, and preparing request for bid approvals (RBA)
  • Reporting & presenting financials to management
  • Serving as a full business partner to the program teams
  • Working with the contracts function for funding, billings, and other contractual items
  • Creating and influencing program baselines through earned value management
  • Developing and monitoring program risks and opportunities
  • Developing financial forecasts and analyzing estimates at completion
  • Coinciding team meetings and reviews
  • Ensuring compliance to internal controls while seeking out opportunities for continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Demonstrated problem solving and in-depth analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and present financial data to other functions in an accurate, concise, and understandable manner
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to make decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies and procedures

Preferred

  • Experience with Oracle, Hyperion, ProPricer and Cobra
  • Experience with project forecasting and analysis, particularly in a US Defense environment
  • Experience in program finance and/or other finance functional disciplines
  • Experience with proposals
  • Understanding and knowledge industry practices and standards as well as company policies
